Trisha Barhorst

Trisha Barhorst leads Nationwide’s Personal Lines Operations organization, driving a customer-focused, efficient and high-performing operation that strengthens customer experiences, operational effectiveness and business performance.

Previously, Trisha served as Vice President of Personal Lines Property Claims, where she led the team through an operational transformation that improved financial performance, modernized capabilities and fostered a culture of continuous improvement.

Throughout her well-rounded career, Trisha has held leadership roles across underwriting, technology, sales, marketing, and customer service. She has successfully led organizational change initiatives focused on aligning talent, leveraging data to make informed decisions and streamlining operations.

Trisha is passionate about authentic leadership and supporting others to find their voice and share their stories. She serves on the Ohio 4-H Foundation Board which works to create new programs and improve existing programs that focus on youth development for Ohio. Trisha is on the executive advisory council for Ignite, the largest associate resource group at Nationwide, and serves on industry advisory councils for both Cotailty and Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB). 

Trisha holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and applied economics and a master’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.
