Todd Lukens

Todd Lukens is the Chief Technology and Information Security Officer for Nationwide. With over two decades in cybersecurity and technology leadership, Todd oversees critical security and technology functions, including Corporate Security, Continuity and Crisis Management, Cybersecurity, Development Platform Engineering, Information Risk Governance, Infrastructure, and Technology Operations. 

Previously, he served in a similar capacity as SVP, CISO with Global Payments Inc. He led the Information Security and Data Protection organization and was responsible for securing Global Payments’ worldwide technology footprint, as well as ensuring product security for all customer-facing technologies. 

Before joining Global Payments, Todd acted as Managing Principal for Cigital specializing in secure software development and application security. Before that, he established the Cyber Security, Privacy and IT Risk Group for PwC. Earlier in his career, he recognized his passion by assisting companies realize their security goals. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, and a Master of Science in Telecommunication Management – both from Oklahoma State University. An active member of the cybersecurity community, Todd serves on customer advisory boards for multiple cybersecurity companies.
