Survey uncovers retirement perception gaps between employers and workers
Employers strive to understand how they can support their workforce’s financial needs, but natural gaps can sometimes emerge between organizational leaders and employee expectations – especially when it comes to benefits packages.
Recent research from the Nationwide Retirement Institute revealed that 86% of plan sponsors think their workers are satisfied with their company’s retirement offerings, but only 62% of employees agree with that sentiment. The research highlights perception gaps related to retirement readiness between plan sponsors and participants and points to actions employers can take to help close them – including addressing the retirement income challenge.
