Supporting those affected by Helene
The Nationwide Foundation donates $100,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund
As Helene continues to move through the southern United States, ensuring the safety and recovery of those in its path is a top priority.
“Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by Helene,” said Kirt Walker, Nationwide CEO. “While our claims and service teams are ready to assist our customers, our commitment to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund will support those who are bravely responding to provide essential aid and comfort after a disaster strikes.”
In support of those affected by Helene, the Nationwide Foundation is making a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
Gifts to American Red Cross Disaster Relief enable the organization to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from disasters big and small by providing food, shelter, emotional support, clean-up kits and other assistance for those in need. People interested in donating to the Red Cross may donate online at www.redcross.org or call 1-800 RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
For any Nationwide customers impacted by the storm, the claims team is ready to assist you. Customers can start a claim online at nationwide.com, through the Nationwide mobile app or by calling 800-421-3535.
