National Latino Alliance recognized as a top employee resource group by LATINA Style

Latina Style recognizes Nationwide as one of their Top 16 Employee Resource Groups of the Year for 2020

LATINA Style magazine has named Nationwide’s National Latino Alliance (NLA) as one of their Top 16 Employee Resource Groups of the Year for 2020. The award is designed to showcase employee resource groups making an impact in career outcomes and overall diversity accomplishments for their companies.

The award recognizes the work of the National Latino Alliance (NLA), an Employee Resource Group (ERG), particularly in the arena of employee empowerment. NLA’s focus on mentoring, offering career progression and providing junior employees with access to senior leaders, was highlighted as way Latinas and Latinos can succeed in their personal and professional growth.

“The National Latino Alliance is incredibly honored to be selected as one of the Top 16 Employee Resource Groups of the Year by LATINA Style, Inc.,” says Dani Lopes Johnson, AVP, Talent Acquisition at Nationwide. “LATINA Style has been a longtime partner of the Latinx community at Nationwide, so this award is very special for us.”

The award aligns with Nationwide’s ongoing development of a workplace where employees and leaders live our values. Our company continues to strive for an inclusive culture that helps employees feel challenged, appreciated, respected and engaged. Nationwide was recently ranked #7 on their list of 50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work for in the U.S.

Nationwide and the National Latino Alliance will be featured in the Nov/Dec issue of LATINA Style magazine. The final award will be given during the LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. in February 2021.
