In 2023, generative artificial intelligence (AI) seemingly appeared out of nowhere in the public consciousness, bursting onto the scene to provide new opportunities while raising, for many, risks and concerns. Although most are just now starting to learn about the possibilities of AI and machine learning (ML), Nationwide has been utilizing the technology for more than a decade, working to ethically harness its potential while managing risk.
