Solano County, California, has a new retirement services provider for its employees. The County announced that Nationwide Retirement Solutions will now provide recordkeeping and education services for its 457, 401(a) and Post Employment Health Plan (PEHP) deferred retirement contribution plans.

The plan has more than $280 million in assets under management and more than 7,500 plan participants.

“This is a result of the recent formal competitive process led by the County, its Deferred Compensation Committee, and key staff. The County regularly works to improve the retirement plan on behalf of the participants, and this is an extension of that commitment,” said Vincent Galindo, senior consultant at Hyas Group, the consultant for the plan.
