Making it easy: Nationwide Life earns top honors for digital experience
Capping Life Insurance Awareness Month, Nationwide has been named the top Universal Life consumer website for 2022 by DALBAR, a leading independent financial auditing and ratings organization. Nationwide bested such competitors as Prudential, USAA, Lincoln Financial and Pacific Life as a strong leader in addressing customer self-service needs.
This marks the third year in a row the Nationwide Financial business has topped this category ─ representing the only company to receive an Excellent designation ─ which comes in the wake of Nationwide’s Life business attracting a number of high profile rankings and recognitions.
In announcing its ranking, DALBAR cited Nationwide as a top provider with “an easy-to-use website offering an optimal level of product details.” Other notable website features include an overview of how Universal Life works, a list of available benefits, accessible phone numbers to connect with insurance professionals and quick-and-easy access to schedule a call at the visitor’s convenience.”
Holly Snyder, President of Nationwide Life, said it’s more important than ever that Nationwide make it easy and convenient for customers and potential customers.
“Consumers are comparing their digital experience when interacting with financial services companies to best-in-class brands across categories and they are raising the bar for their expectations,” Snyder said. “We have leaned into efforts to enhance our web experience, and our customers and distribution partners are noticing a real difference. We’re grateful for these results and the hard work of the Enterprise Innovation and Digital team, especially Molly Paisie and her team’s efforts to elevate our digital capabilities for customers.”
