Nationwide’s Plaza One building echoes soccer fans sentiments during playoffs
On Saturday, the Columbus Crew will look to capture their 3rd MLS cup in franchise history when they host LAFC in the 2023 MLS Cup Final. As play begins at Lower.com Field, players and fans will be able to look through the roof of the stadium and see support on Nationwide’s Plaza One building.
Beginning Wednesday and lasting through Saturday’s final match, “Go Crew” will illuminate the Plaza One windows. Nationwide is the official jersey sponsor of the Crew.
“The entire city is energized by the Crew’s fantastic season,” said Ramon Jones, CMO Nationwide. “We’re hoping the Nationwide lights let the players know how much we’re pulling for them and give them some inspiration as they try to bring home another MLS Cup!”
The 2023 MLS Cup Final between Columbus and LAFC kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. ET.
