Kevin Jestice, CFA, CIPM
SVP, Head of Investment Management Group
Kevin Jestice is Senior Vice President of Nationwide Financial’s Investment Management Group (IMG). He joined Nationwide in 2020 and has a broad leadership background in financial services including investment management, sales, client services and technology. Kevin is known for his strong, empowering leadership and for driving results.
Kevin leads a $72 billion investment advisor with a range of products distributed through financial intermediary channels, retirement products, variable annuity and life menus. IMG is a manager of managers, partnering with more than 30 sub-advisors across 150 funds including mutual funds and CITs. Kevin is responsible for setting the investment strategy and delivering investment results of the IMG portfolio, overseeing all IMG operations including product/business development, fund operations and investments. He also serves as President & CEO, Nationwide Funds, reporting to the Chairman and Funds Board of Trustees.
Prior to Nationwide, Kevin spent more than 13 years at Vanguard, most recently serving as Principal, Head of Enterprise Advice, where he built a new sub-division focused on improving outcomes for individual investors through advice and education. He also served as Principal, Head of Institutional Investor Services, where he led a 250+-member team of investment professionals, relationship managers and operations professionals to serve Vanguard’s institutional asset management clients. In his time with Vanguard, he also led the outsourced chief investment office business, served on the Investment Policy and Strategic Asset Allocation committees, and transformed Vanguard’s consultant sales model.
Kevin earned an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Honors BA degrees in Finance and Management, magna cum laude, from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He holds FINRA Series 6, 26 and 63 licenses. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, has a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations and Value Chain Management from MIT Sloan. He is also a member of the CFA Institute, the CIPM Association and the CFA Society of Columbus.
