City of Seattle renews with Nationwide

The City of Seattle is staying with Nationwide to provide recordkeeping and education services for the plan’s 457(b) defined retirement contribution plan. Nationwide has had the plan for five years and the new contract is for a three-year renewal.

The plan has more than $1.8 billion in assets and nearly 11,000 participants.

“We’re proud to extend this partnership with the City of Seattle and continuing to provide service, solutions and extraordinary care as we help its plan participants prepare for a financially secure retirement,” said Craig Hawley, leader of Retirement Solutions Distribution at Nationwide.

In addition to recordkeeping and administrative services, Nationwide will provide participants with financial planning services and access to the online Interactive Retirement PlannerSM a personalized, comprehensive financial planning tool that provides a holistic view of retirement readiness.
