For nearly 20 years, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has been a premier showcase for the Korn Ferry Tour’s top talent, but the tournament also provides a perfect platform to highlight its philanthropic purpose – supporting kids and families served by Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Tournament officials recently gathered with partners and volunteers to announce that the 2025 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship generated a record-setting $3,708,805 for Nationwide Children’s, marking the fifth consecutive year in which the $3 million mark has been exceeded. Since its inception in 2007, the tournament has raised nearly $33 million for the hospital’s nationally recognized pediatric cancer program1.

“This best-in-class event continues to set the standard on the Korn Ferry Tour for meaningful impact, and we’re deeply grateful to every partner, patron and volunteer whose support makes this tournament so special,” said Craig Hawley, president and chief operating officer for Nationwide Financial and chairman of Champions of the Community, the host organization for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. “We also want to extend sincere thanks to the Patient Champions and their families who join us during tournament week and whose stories of courage and resilience inspire us year after year.”

“The tremendous generosity of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship makes lifesaving work possible across so many different areas of the hospital,” said Tim Robinson, CEO of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. “The millions that have been raised from this tournament that support clinical care and groundbreaking cancer research help us reach best outcomes for our patients and families.”

Since 2011, Nationwide’s sports marketing partnerships have contributed more than $74 million to Nationwide Children’s. Beyond the golf-related fundraising from Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship and the Memorial Tournament’s Legends Luncheon, additional support comes from partnerships with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Half Marathon, the Columbus Crew and The Dale Jr. Foundation.
