Nationwide recognized as a Fortune Best Company to Work For

For the ninth consecutive year, Nationwide has been recognized on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list. This annual list sets a national benchmark for companies that deliver high performance and create an outstanding employee experience. 

At No. 21 in 2023, this ranking can be attributed to Nationwide’s continued commitment to a flexible work environment, investment in upskilling and reskilling employees and culture of inclusion.

For Nationwide employee, Kisha Pollard, this recognition is extra special as it affirms the culture she’s seen come to life during her 20-year tenure at the company.

“The culture is infused with integrity, care, opportunities, excellence and diversity across all levels of the company,” said Pollard. “There is community here and space for everyone to be supported, heard, and successful.”

In addition to Nationwide’s culture, Pollard says that the way the company invests in its people by offering tuition assistance and reimbursement options makes it unique.

“I completed my undergrad degree in 2012 and have taken a few courses towards the completion of my master's program,” said Pollard. “This benefit supports a culture of continuous learning, development, and skill building. I appreciate that Nationwide encourages me to invest in my personal development by making these resources available.”
