Tony Beal named leader of Nationwide National Partners team
Tony Beal has been tapped to lead the Nationwide National Partners team, the insurance and financial services giant announced. The Nationwide National Partners (NNP) team is responsible for managing key P&C distribution partner relationships.
A collaborative and strategic leader, Beal’s background in national distribution management and underwriting provides a clear perspective for what a world class underwriting culture looks like, and how it can help build mutually beneficial relationships. This will serve NNP well as the organization continues to partner with national partners to help deepen their understanding of the value that Nationwide brings to them.
“Tony’s Nationwide experience, his leadership roles at several top quartile national P&C carriers and his time as a national broker made him the perfect person to lead this very successful team and continue the important work that NNP does for our partners every day,” said Peter McMurtrie, president of Nationwide’s Commercial Lines business.
Beal replaces Gary Douglas, who retired earlier this year.
