Heidi Sirota recognized as a 2022 Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership honoree

Nationwide’s Chief Pet Officer Heidi Sirota has led the country’s original and largest pet health insurance provider through a period of unprecedented growth fueled by pandemic pets, partnerships and a commitment to industry-leading customer-centric care.

Sirota’s leadership and innovation in the pet health insurance industry, along with her breadth of experience in human health care before joining Nationwide, has garnered her recognition by Digital Insurance as a 2022 Women in Insurance Leadership honoree.

“Heidi is an action-oriented, visionary leader who is very deserving of this honor. She has not only overseen impressive topline growth through new strategic partnerships and enhanced customer experiences, but she has simultaneously driven meaningful increases in bottom-line performance – an impressive feat in this increasingly competitive category,” said Mike Mahaffey, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer for Nationwide.

Now in its 17th year, the Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership forum honors transformative female leaders who are bringing the industry into the connected future. Sirota, and this year’s class of honorees who represent diverse businesses across the insurance industry, will be celebrated at an exclusive event around the annual conference, November 8 in Chicago.

Digital Insurance is a leading resource for senior executives who spearhead the digital transformation of the insurance industry.
