2023 CEO Award winners recognized for exceptional service

As Nationwide continues to lean into its hybrid work model, it’s more important than ever to find ways to remain connected as a company – and each year during Nationwide’s annual all-company meeting, it’s a great opportunity to do just that. 

In addition to reflecting on the past year, it’s also a time to celebrate the Nationwide employees who went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and results. 

Dedicating hundreds of hours to volunteer in the community, working tirelessly to develop solutions to better serve members, and spearheading efforts to make our roads safer are just a few things the 2023 CEO Award winners were recognized for. 

“It’s an honor to celebrate our outstanding CEO Award winners each year,” said Nationwide CEO Kirt Walker. “These winners have gone far beyond expectations and provide extraordinary care in all that they do.” 

With categories like community impact, living Nationwide’s values, and delivering results, nearly 150 employees were peer-nominated for the awards and the 19 winners were selected by Walker and his executive leadership team. 

"This year's CEO Award recipients truly inspire us," said Chief Human Resources Officer Vinita Clements. "Their unwavering dedication to our customers, partners, and communities serves as a driving force behind the positive impact we're able to make."
